Back from the mini break..

After a 20 day break, I'm back.

I am currently trying to settle down in Chennai. Still trying to unpack (rather unsuccessfully I should say). I have no enthu or space to unpack fully. I have a week to start work. Work isn't too far. Just 3-4 kms, so hopefully I won't get caught in the horrendous traffic in Chennai. Just in the last 1 year the traffic in Chennai has become really bad. It took me 1.5 hours the other day to go from my house in Adyar to the airport! (which is only 8 km away).

I've been trying to reconnect to my network that existed long ago in Chennai. 6 years is a long time and there are not too many of my friends left in Chennai. I got back in touch with Siddhi and was pleasantly surprised to be invited to the Roof Top Film Festival (RTFF).
RTFF is a small motion by some Chennaiites to involve film buffs. According to the RTFF wiki..
Roof-Top film Fest (RTFF) is a film festival born out of the desire to provide a platform for people to enjoy movies and share their criticism in an open environment. An intense atmosphere will be created for the screening of the films and the discussions that follow. The Roof-Top Film Fest will focus on independent films, short films, cult movies and films that changed the way we looked at cinema.
I met a bunch of very interesting folk from various streams. A lot of them are very active bloggers (Kiruba, Ganesh, Gapp, and a few others). They seemed like a bunch of very enthusiastic people who've done events before like the Proto conference, the wiki camp, etc. I'm looking forward to being a more active part of their activities in future..

My interests in photography have taken precedence these days. So, I guess I will be working more on my photoblog http://rhapsoder.shutterchance.com for a while. Will be back when i'm inspired to write about something. Keep giving me feedback on my photoblog till then.

Peace out!

Graduation

Graduation came and went. ISB's done.. But, I'll be going back for the next batch's orientation.

Having moved so many times, I don't think I feel all that senti. But, there were so many others who were feeling very very sentimental about leaving ISB. So many people are having withdrawal effects. Sometimes I feel I"ve become impersonal! :-)
